Sub: PLEA NOT TO BE A SOCIAL CORRUPTOR

Many of our members are regular readers are your esteemed newspapers. For last few years they and others are expressing their views that The Times of India is slowly becoming a social corruptor instead of a responsible social educator.

The latest episode is that Times is after ACP Dhobale for raids on bars with doubtful reputations. Your team seems to be obsessed to undermine anybody who works for social morals even though he is working within law as remarked by even HC judge. Your team is trying to line up every possible person and organization against him by using your media & financial clout.

In the past we found Times is much more enthusiastic to support issues like live-in relationship, gay and lesbian relationships, sexual relationship by persons below allowable age etc.

Why run down those concerned with social morals as “moral police’?

Bombay Times is another initiative exposing teenagers to sexually provocative photographs and gossip. Why should this be thrust free on unwilling receivers? Verily this paper is going towards becoming a Sex Times!

Every issue of the main Times will present pin-up girls sometimes on front page. Why this sex mania?

You will be tempted to dismiss even this letter as moral policing!

We sincerely hope editorial team does some introspection to consider the fate of their own families and children of impressionable age. Please do consider destruction of European and American families by the likes of Times who followed the same path as your team. Why ape them under the false notion of liberalism and progressiveness!

Looking forward to a socially responsible Times editorial team who does not act as social corruptor

Yours Sincerely
for RASHTRIYA MATADATA MANCH
